About Library
Birpara College central library was established in 1986. Library provides services to the students, faculty members and staff. Our library is well equipped with reference books, textbooks, journals and newspapers, career oriented books etc. In the library we use DDC 23rd Ed classification system and book arrangement is under subject wise system. Library is running under CCTV surveillance which ensures security to its resources.
The college library is using library management software SOUL (Software for University Library) for library automation and data entry of books call no. The information retrieval also done through WebOPAC of SOUL software.

Stack room: 2100 Sq ft
Reading Room: 1400 Sqft
Total Seating Capacity: The reading room has sitting capacity of 100 students all together.
Total Collection of the Library: 16690 volumes including Reference Books.
